Yes, Perez gets included, because he made more than 20 appearances. It's easy to forget he even played for the Orioles last year, though he did yeoman's work during his stint as a left-handed situational lefty, a job that will be going elsewhere next season since Perez was released and has signed with the Dodgers.
He's had three decent years in the last four, so he probably still has something left. That was a lot of walks last year for a short man, but he struck some guys out so it all worked out for him.
It's highly unlikely he will pitch to a .198 against again. But if Buddy Groom can do it, why not Yorkis?
TO SUCCESSFULLY CONTRIBUTE NEXT YEAR, HE SHOULD:
(1.) make the Dodgers so he can pitch in Dodger Stadium half the time.
(2.) cut down on the walks.
